The worst part is that it was totally unjustified. I mean, would it have occurred but for 9/11? I think not. Yet, Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, so how does that follow?

That doesn't matter, those deaths are just statistics. People will now find a way to spin something positive or re-frame the perception of these issues, because after all, it was an American President acting democratically in the protection of freedom (which was obviously a huge load of BS).
Bush and his regime, and the American public to an extent, have blood on their hands, and were more of a threat to world peace and stability than they were a benefit to it.
