I can tell you that never, EVER have I felt in danger or even that something was faintly wrong when I have bought. I get tiny quantities though. Probably an 8th (~2.5G) every two weeks.

In case you didn't already know...
The names an eighth, quarter, half etc all refer to how much of an ounce they are.
An ounce is 28g and there are 16oz in a lb.
3.5g is an eighth of an ounce, 7g is a quarter, 14g is a half. $30 for an eighth, $60 for a quarter, $90-120 for a quarter. $180-220 for an ounce. $600ish for a QP - quarter pound. I've never bought a pound so I have no idea how much that costs. Unless you're buying tuna can cush or something. Then it is like $10-20/g with no discounts for high volume unless it's like a lb or something.
