As you come off anderson everyone's going 80-90, then as anderson and bow bottom meet up, it actually starts to go faster, as the bow bottom guys are usually going closer to 90-95.
So now everyone's at a good merging speed, but then because there's a corner, there's always a few strugglers that slow down. So at this point you watch your speedometer go 95, 90, 85, 80, and we're usually going about 70 to 75 by the time we meet up with deerfoot.  |
I think some of those strugglers have been nabbed by cops that like to hang out there. That's one of the fishing holes that GMG. Everyone knows that the limit on Deerfoot is 100, so people start to speed up, but wait! It's still only 80 for the next 100 meters! Here's a ticket!
