I agree that it's a recipe for disaster to force men into consistently acting against their genetic make-up. No violence or sex makes Jack a dull boy. However, I don't think there's anything inherently valuable about that genetic make up.
While there are virtues that are valuable that could be described as manly, I don't think it's a worthwhile distinction. I think we can bypass describing virtues as manly or feminine without losing a thing.
