But if Tarvaris comes in and doesn't throw bone-headed picks and just manages the game and they pound AP, they may not have been in the situation we were in on Sunday

Seriously? Tavaris Jackson is a better choice than Brett Favre? OK then. You do understand that Jackson throws INT's as well right....or is that not factored in?
Put it this way....regardless of "why" the Vikes were down 14 late (and ignoring that there was a fumble return (not by Favre) and a kickoff return for TD's that got them there) do you truly belive that Jackson would have been able to pull off what happened yesterday??

But when the QB and the play caller clearly have their differences, something is wrong there.

Yeah...and when the play caller is clearly appearing to be an absolute powermonger and a complete idiot with multiple players over the course of 7 days, I would imagine that the entire team sees "something wrong there".

And just because we are not all Favre apologists, doesn't mean we are on a pedestal. But thanks.

Apologist? You should never apologize for your team winning a game...something you and Childress seemingly have no ability to do. But anyone who believes that Tavaris friggin Jackson is anywhere close to doing what Brett Favre can do when it matters is...
a) in denial
b) insane.
Your choice I guess.
Someone said that Favre was unable to be classified with those that have so many 4th Q comebacks and when I read it I laughed. Yesterday was #47 according to the FOX guys..."yeah but he throws INT's"...like no one else does.
The numbers are what they are but now that wont count either.
I apologize not for Brett Favre, but for the single best football player I have ever seen, and I do it only when those so blinded by hate for the guy cant get over that fact. He is not the guy he was even 5 years ago, but he is still a guy that knows everything about the position and his club...moreso this season than his coach does which makes me laugh even more.
Jackson>>>Favre? Laughable in any discussion of rational football talk...ever.
