I'm sorry, but 100K for a cop is an absolutely ridiculous salary for a relatively uneducated individual. No where in this argument does anyone point towards their benefits (second to none) and their pension (again, second to none). Without consideration of OT (which if they are anything like nurses would be abused), i'm betting all in compensation for 5th year police officer is 150K. That to me is excessive for a public servant.
