Quit talking out your A$$.
Court time is based solely on an individual cops schedule. If court is on a regular day off he gets paid for the whole day. If it's on a regularly scheduled shift, he makes nothing extra. There are other conditions (ie. court between 2 regular days scheduled, etc) but they don't amount to much more than half a days pay.
Keep in mind, those figures are probably for massive amounts of overtime or court time. It's not like they aren't working.
