Every situation is different I guess. My friend's family wasn't the most happiest at first, but they worked it out and she's a part of the family. Her dad on the other hand wanted to kill her. A lot of races have the old style thinking of only marrying into your own race and I think in the next 100 years that will be old news as alot of Canadian citizens that are kids of immigrants are having kids of their own and really their culture will be lost in the mix.
