I can see Michigan but not CU, the only way Les is leaving LSU is if he's fired. They wont fire Les unless he has a 4 loss season or the wheels fall off with the rest of the games left on the schedule.

Colorado needs to go after a guy like Kirby Smart, or Muschamp (if Texas doesn't lock him up) or Mullen. They will not get a big name prime coach to go up there and play in the pac 12 when they are going to be the baylor of the pac12.

They might get a coach that is past his prime like a Spurrier or Bowden to go there but they will not get a big name that is at the top of his game.
All I said is that he may be hand picked to be offered the job at the end of the year. Nothing more.

Since you know everything about college football, it is safe to assume that you know how close Miles and McCartney are and how Miles' time as an assistant at CU propelled his career. During his time at CU, where he was McCartney's top recruiter, they consistently were in the National Championship hunt. I'm pretty sure the guy can recruit to Boulder.

He's got a great job at LSU and probably won't leave. I get that. BUT....he may be about to get an offer that pulls very heavily on his heart strings and sometimes those kinds of offers outweight those that pull on the purse strings.

If there is any doubt about Miles relationship with McCartney I give you Sal's kid....
