Sorry for beating the Moss topic to death, but here's an article by Ed Werder claiming that Ziggy Wilf almost kept Moss and canned Childress.

Some key things I pulled out of the article that give me hope for the future.
Quote:
Wilf, who lives in New Jersey, spent much of the past week observing practices and meeting individually with Vikings players. One of the players who met with Wilf told ESPN he sensed the owner was attempting to determine how much support remained for Childress among veteran players and wanted to remind them they could still make the playoffs.

The Vikings have an owner who cares deeply about the success of his team while still being able to let the people he's put in charge handle their duties.
Thankfully, this whole debacle of a season, may have started the process of finding new management and a new coach. This is something that I've wanted for almost 2 years now. So while this season may seem bleak, I am very hopeful that this team can turn it around in the future.
