Driving isn't a contest, you generally don't get a prize for getting home or to work a minute earlier. Relax and enjoy the ride. I would imagine that a relaxed driver who is focusing on the entire road is probably a safe driver over all than the one who is raging because that idiot in the Prius in the left lane on Deerfoot is only doing 100.
My wife used to be very bad with this, until the day my daughter started repeating the show of anger from her car seat. "Get out of the freaking way" coming from a 2 year old is a pretty eye opening experience, I guess.

You're a better man than I. The amount of times I've thought this to myself... only to be followed by some guy going like 5 under in front of me. Then it's out the window. Not like I rage or anything, but it annoys me.
I find I'm usually doing about the speed limit or a little over, if there's nobody in front of me. For some reason though, I hate going slightly slower than I could be going when it's dictated by someone else. Makes no sense in some ways, but an open road is bliss.
