The problem with Moss is that motivated Moss lasts about 3 seconds. Even at his best on the supposed best team of all time he took a ton of plays off.
For a team like the Colts that actually have a chance the risk of Moss is not worth.
For a team that has no chance adding Moss makes sense because when he torpedos your season you can claim you did everything to try and win.

I don't know how many people watched the game considering it was the LIons and I doubt many places had it outside of NFL SUnday Ticket, but McNabb was a statue back there all game long. He was noticeably slower than every Lions defensive Lineman and having watched him his whole career intelligence is not his strong suit so a lot of what the Shannahan's are saying makes sense.
Now bringing in Russell kills any sort of credibility that they had as he isn't a solution for a Calgary Midget football team let alone a supposed NFL team.
