Late to the party but pitiful from the Seahawks. Caught only the first quarter while on the coast, but checked scores...10-0 in the second quarter, and I knew it was over.
Does anyone know where "comebacks when trailing" stats are? Because I swear I haven't seen one from Hasslebeck (the team had one earlier this year vs SD, but those were kickoff returns) since going to the Superbowl.
Seriously. Sound like a broken record about this, but the guy is not a leader that any teams rally around.
For Carroll, who talks about competition at every position, you can't tell me not putting in Whitehurst when this game was out of reach and, as Hasslebeck claims after the fact, that he had a "small concussion" (oh oh, hear come the injury excuses again), wasn't part of that. Hasselbeck has looked average in his wins, and stunk in losses, barely moving the ball down field in the second half. Give the backup some reps, because Carroll tying his wagon to Hasslebeck much past this year or next, will get him in big trouble.
