One of these days they'll be a big CFL-only kicking play made to decide the outcome of a big game, if only because the rules are fuzzy to players in the hear of the moment...such as a hook play to a reciver, and instead of the "ladder", the reciver kicks it with a speeding onside fellow receiver streaking after the ball. I recall the 05 Stamps, in Dunigan's last play as coach/gm, doing the onside punt against BC last play of the game. Refs blew the call and gave BC the win.

Anyways, good thing to have the West wrapped up. Really hope to see BC pull it out, but either them or EDM will give Sask all they can handle. The week of rest and not having to play that extra game against a surging team will help immensely for Calgary.

Get to Edmonton after beating a beat up team from the WSF, and if it is Montreal coming out of the East, not nearly as scary after watching them the 4 of the last 5 weeks. (Cgy blowout, barely holding on against WPG, getting hammered against HAM and then squeaking a comeback against TOR). Sure, the big win vs. Calgary, but the Stamps have looked a lot more lethal, in the time since, even with the 3-2 record in those 5 same weeks.

And, not wanting to get too far ahead here, but thank goodness Commenwealth has field turf and not the concrete skating rink that passed for grey grass up there post-Thanksgiving every year. Makes the Grey Cup an even playing field for an actual football game, as opposed to a competition of who slips the least.
