Now people who owned a Phillips CDI or Atari Jaguar, that's another story. But then again, those machines were so expensive, it was pretty hard to feel sorry for the rich kids who actually suckered their parents into purchasing those two pieces of crap.

The worst was Panasonic 3DO. My buddies mom bought him one for almost $500, the games barely lasted an hour from start to finish.
