As for the chairman, I have no idea what influence Harry had, but I'd say there was definitely some, as he brought some of thos ex-Pompey players with him to Spurs.

Harry takes a lot of stick - and maybe rightfully sometimes, but ultimately, it wasn't his job to balance the books. Storrie and his execs should have been policing Harry's spending and making sure he stuck to his wage structure - that didn't happen. It's easier to blame Aitch though because he bailed on them to come to us.
