Exactly my thoughts. His wife is a victim in all of this too. Unlike Karla Homolka, she knew nothing about her husband's double-life and terrible crimes until after his arrest and confession. If she was depending on her husband's pension to provide for her retirement, why should she be deprived of that because of crimes she had no part of? Can you imagine what it must be like for her right now, to discover in shocking detail that someone she loved was secretly a monster?
