The thing is he's actually right though. Helmets aren't for protection anymore, they are weapons. Guys who blow guys up with big hits typically drive the crown of their helmet through their opponent. Coincidentally, guys who come up as big hitters get scholarships, then get drafted, and then get rich. The NFL has cultivated a game where guys who hit like that are sought after commodities, and now they're going to pretend like they're a scourge on the sport because they've finally been pressured into giving a fata about concussions?
