I can't believe that Rooney is going to hesitate to move for fear of incurring the wrath of Manchester United's fans or something, he was a childhood Everton guy, totally developed and blooded by them for 10 years and then turned his back on them as soon as he saw greener pastures without hesitation.

I actually think that City is going to be a significantly better side than United for a few years to come if the ownerships stay the same. It doesn't happen overnight but United has been trending downwards and City has been strengthening in every transfer window.

Man U isn't able to compete with City on the open market for superstars and the youth academies can't even be compared in the last 5 years City has been in a different league. Only a matter of time if things keep going the way they have, I think only Ferguson has kept the tide from turning earlier.
