I am a Nenshi supporter, and I can understand if people vote for Rick McIver. I have no idea why anyone would vote for Barb Higgins. She has shown absolutely nothing to me that indicates she is qualified in any way. Its so obvious she's counting on pure name recognition to get her by. I've actually done a 180 on this. I can see why some people would want Higgins. She's an urbanite and is very pro arts and culture. Whereas Ric says one thing and does another frequently. Also with most of the incumbents looking like they're coming back, building consensus will be very hard with him at the helm.
We definitely need someone else steering the ship, rather than the divisive politics that have plagued this council in the last 3 years.
