Another way to look at it: Whomever gets elected (and it's going to be a squeaker) will probably be intensely disliked by the majority of the populace within a few short months. City is $60 million in arrears and has to turn things around pronto lest the province steps in and cuts off funding.
So, the question becomes which candidate best weathers that particular storm.
I'm with Kent Hehr's assessment that Barb Higgins won't handle being yelled at very well.
