I took this a couple years ago...I am glad I have the training but would likely still freak out if ever faced with this type of scenerio...I think things were streamlined in 2005 so much of the info is more consistent and once you take the training you are good for 3 years...regarding infants things are somewhat different. Take the course.....but for now, what they taught me :
-Baby CPR = less than 1 year old : Centre of chest, open airway to neutral, check breathing for 10 seconds, fingers (middle and ring finger) straight up and down......2 puffs and 30 compressions.....
-Airway obstruction for baby = 30 then look 2....put in recovery position and check breathing every 2 minutes.....
-Baby choking : -5 back blows 5 chest throws holding the baby upside down
-Epipen : remove grey safety cap.....outter thigh : you will hear a click....hold it for 10 seconds and 15-20 minutes of temporary reflief.....grey cap at one end and needle at the other end......
