The question you have to really look at from a none homer view is.
Did they trade Moss thinking they can't win this year because the defence is just not going to be good enough or did they trade him to get value or did they trade him due to inconsolable differences or was it based on all 3 of the above. I tend to think it is based on all 3 of the above. I think the Pats wanted to get some value for him. They have a ton of draft picks available for next year and BB is trying to build another winner within 3 - 4 years before Brady gets too old.
Not saying they won't try to win it all this year because with Brady at the helm they always have a shot but realistically how great of a shot do they have. Only time will tell.
