As TO has found out there isn't a large market for aging, diva wide receivers. As good as they can be at times on the field they can be sulkers and distractions when they aren't getting the ball win or lose. The Vikings are desperate and need to win now so I can see why they made the deal but you get the feeling that the Vikings are more of a collection of talent than a cohesive football team. Also doesn't help that Childress is the 2nd worst head coach in the NFL after Tom Cable.
Also one wonders how the Patriots will fare on offense without Moss. Phasing him out and not throwing the ball to him is one thing but he was still on the field occupying double coverage and stretching the defense while Brady was throwing underneath. Now that Moss threat is gone teams can just focus on blanketing Welker. Woodhead looked good on Monday but if he turns into a key part of that offense they could be in trouble.
