I found Tuxedo did a damn good job on my skates. I use a 3/4 hollow and they had no problem getting that done for me. I made the mistake of going to the sports swap or whatever it is in Crowfoot Crossing, and I would never, ever recommend anyone to go there. Just a couple lackey kids in the back who looked at me like I was drunk when I asked for a 3/4.

You need to look at the 709 / G9 boot. I bet the incredible hulk could find a fit in those things. You see a lot of the big men in the NHL wearing them because they fit so deep.
As far as Sport Swap. I had one of their cards where you got 10 free sharpens, so I figured I'd give em a try. I literally went running across the store one time to make the girl there stop sharpening my skates. I was just browsing around when they were doing my sharpen, and I heard this grinding sound like they were sharpening my skates with a chainsaw or something. I ran up to the counter and they girl is literally hanging off the sharpener arm. I asked what the heck she was doing, and she said.."This way I can do them in one pass." I had to get them re profiled and basically lost a 1/4 inch of blade to get them fixed at pro skate. I was not pleased. Its no wonder they went out of business.
