Bob, I know you live down south, but if you want your wife's American cousin to try poutine, you have to take them to Alberta King of Subs and at least let them try some authentic poutine first. Or even go all out and try the poutine at the District. I haven't tried the district, but it looks damn good! Just don't take them to fast food joints like KFC, A&W or BK (even though I like BK's) before trying real poutine.
