I woudl recomend searching the forums for some really good tips about using apple. No need to repeat here.

I find the trackpad has completley replaced my mouse, I don't even have one near my computer.

Another thought when setting up is to make dropbox your home folder when you are setting up so that all your important stuff is always backed up and offsite.

Also, if you are a corporate guy, given your nickname, look into buying software through your employer. I bouth MS Office for Mac for $11 through work.

Ihave really liked my Mac in the two years since I switched.
