Woot!
Thank goodness for Leon Washington. Hasselbeck made 2 plays, and threw an interception in the endzone, and bungled the end of the first half severley, losing at least a FG out of that.
SD definately handed that lead to SEA, should've been more.
Then, second half, Hasselbeck does nothing...absolutely nothing to move the ball down field. The bend-don't break SEA defense has no answer, for some unknown reason, for leaving Gates open time and again.
Will take that win, of course, against possibly the 2nd toughest opponent on paper SEA has this season other than NO.
But same old Hasslebeck, with no production in the second half, and only 2 99 and 101 yd kick returns help SEA win this one and that will be a concern still when you can't rely on kick returns every game.
Good for KC/so much for SF walking away with the preseason predictions of the NFC West. Too bad about Oakland's last second miss, and Washington laying an egg, or Seattle could have a 2 game lead in the division already.
