You guys know that it's not a movie about Facebook, right?

It's not a documentary about how to add people to your friends list or post pictures that nobody wants to see. It's the background story of how the whole thing was created, and it's actually a pretty interesting story. The movie could be about the concept of paint drying on a wall somewhere, but if the same background events happened while that paint was drying, it would be a pretty interesting story too.

I can't stand gangsters or mobsters or even guns in general, but I sure loved The Godfather. I couldn't care less about Facebook either, but the story (as I understand it) is something that interests me a great deal.

Again, see it or don't see it. That obviously has no impact on me. I'm just saying this whole cultural highground thing is nothing more than misguided elitism.

Edit: Also, the reviews I posted in this thread all came from the Rotten Tomatoes website. They are the "T-Meter" reviews, meaning that they are some of the top critics in the industry. These aren't just random bloggers.
