I was looking for arcades in Calgary when I noticed this board had this recent thread going on about the topic. By reading what's here it looks like it's a pretty grim time for the traditional arcade in this city.
I've been thinking of writing a story about the dying arcade culture for a Mount Royal University paper.
Does anyone have any suggestions or contacts of people I can/should talk to? I would love to talk to someone who used to own a traditional arcade back in the day if anyone knows of one.
