I used the remote for the longest time; works fine, tons better then the controller. Especially if someone new tries to watch a video, they'll be pulling their hair out if they have to use the controller.

Even though the Harmony adaptor is expensive, I think it's worth it. It doesn't take up a USB port, and it works like a charm on the PS3.
