I'm a simple pleasures guy to be honest. I will attack my enemies, drive them from their cities, weaken them, but show mercy and let them survive.
At least until I get nukes, once I get nukes, I gain even more simple pleasures in removing their civilizations from the universe with the holy clensing nuclear fire.
One thing that I do miss out Master or Orion was the options when you took an enemy panet, you could basically integrate them from society or clense them from your planet.
