The area is pretty quiet. A few times I did hit up Disney, six flags and a few other places with roller coasters, but those are long days unless you plan on spending the night. I have driven to vegas from there as well.

I guess I was thinking of terms of two adults.
It is great to rent a house near downtown go out have a few drinks and walk home at night.
But if you are going out to eat go out to Roy's not so much for kids but if you can just go out with the wife the food and service is awesome
