2) HUT -> every 5 games i try to play OFFLINE, 3 end because i "lose connection to EA".. Mind you i have never lost connection during a 'online vs' match so how come ONLY hut suffers from this?! I'm sick of investing 15 mins into a game only to have this happen, i lose a contract game for ALL my players, as well as have to suffer less pucks now due to the DNF factor increase. so dumb.

3) be a gm -> so all we heard in the offseason was the added depth in this mode wiht the chl integration. well what use is it if you have to sign all your rookies to ELC as soon you draft them?! i'm not too sure of this, but doesn't this sorta F up ur gm'ing?! this has forced me to not start my gm mode, as i'm hoping a patch comes out to resolve this first.

all in all, the game's gotten boring. i played nhl10 all the way till the release of the nhl11 demo. this year, i find myself bored of the game already
I've noticed a lot of online players preferring to go end to end, but I always just keep the passing lanes clogged and direct the player towards the boards, it'll end either in them taking a bad shot or giving the puck away. Mobile D-men seem to be a little better at this since usually no one is covering them when they enter the offensive zone. I'm starting to routinely dance through entire teams with bouwmeester.

The game really requires precision passing, gone are the days of the no look, tape to tape passing. But it is easier to get a step ahead with good passing, so the difficulty in passing is higher, but so the rewards are greater.
