As far as the protein issue goes, there are all kinds of protein powders/shakes out there that seem to cut it for me post workout...but Im not looking to build muscle mass.

Really? I have a lot of friends that get preachy about it.
I'm just not a big fan of processed protein powders. I'm not trying to bulk up either, but I find that chicken or something like almonds works alright for my needs.
