No wonder combat veterans come back all screwed up and frequently have nightmares reliving their experiences over there. We are so sheltered over here in North America we have absolutely no idea of what the horrors of war are really like.
Maybe pictures like what I posted should be shown more often... then maybe we would understand what war REALLY is all about. Its about death and killing and most of it is pretty ugly.

You'll note that I clearly put the blame on myself for opening the thread, not you. Thanks for going on a rant about the trivialization of combat though.
