I liken this to twilight. It is empty, self absorbed crap that got stupidly popular because it's a random phenominon. It's annoying as hell and you can't hide from it. It's not a jealousy thing... its a frustration with how stupid and sheep-like people can be.

I honestly didn't know what Twilight was until 1 month ago. I also managed to avoid ever knowing who that reality show TV couple with 12 kids was all about (forgot their name) too.I guess its just that your friends like listening to Lady Gaga and watching Twilight then.
