Boy, if this insignificant street closing makes people's blood boil, imagine how much violence would erupt here if Calgary did what Copenhagen did last month, and make a 1.6km runway for fashion models throughout downtown streets! Look it up, no jokes.
Farrell's right though; if we always listened to critics we'd have no LRT, old City Hall, a performing arts centre or Lougheed buiding.
