Apologies for making another jailbreaking thread, but I have a few questions about it.

I'm thinking of getting a new 4g ipod touch, and wondering whether i should jailbreak it or not. Are there any risks/downsides to jailbreaking it? Since it's a new generation of ipod touch, is it alright to do it even though it just came out? Or is it a risky affair since it was just released?
