what really troubles me about thieves is - they're taking the easy way out of work by rendering useless long hours by us little people.
pretty low in character.
had my car broken into in edmonton, $300 damage to the steering column. luckily i have a kill switch that prevents it from being started at all, saved my car.
i was working a crap security job at a-channel (the day before the strike) and had three consecutive 12-hour shifts, working out to $220 take-home. i was out 36 hours of 'work' and at a net loss of $80.
put it all into perspective - i quit the job and moved back to calgary!
but a small part of me was angry enough to plan a take-back-the-streets plan, hang out in the bushes with a bat and wait for the low-life to try again. thank god my friends talked me out of it!
crappy deal about the car, seven cars sounds pretty ambitious. maybe the next parking lot these guys choose will be the wrong one.
