I don't know how you can use the action cam as a forward.
I used to use it all the time as a dman, and still do sometimes, but the whole point of using as a forward is mysterious to me. Using it on defense gives you a great perspective for the offensive zone in. You get a great view of the action, when to pinch, when to step up, etc. But that is because you usually have the entire playing surface in your field of vision.
As a forward, I find it very hard to make passing plays. You can't see anything, or make any plays.
I guess if you're a guy who likes to shoot a lot it is great, I just don't find it very conducive to team play, and I don't mean that to be insulting in any way.
