no question, the terrorist infrastructure left by much arab money is giving a lot of people headaches, not the least of which is many arabs themselves...
the disarming of lebanese christian terrorist organizations over the last ten years left a big media coverage hole for muslim terrorism to fill as well.
the sabra and chatila massacre for example, has got to rank right up near nazi-level war crimes, but it was one headline of 2000 deaths and not hundreds of headlines of less than a dozen deaths.
as for the 'scholar' arab media in general has to be taken with a huge cow-brick of salt, it is a cultural thing - very inflammatory. i've lived with two arabs for a combined year and a half, and they weren't big-money-kids sent here to go to school. the arab youth it seems to me is quite skeptical of both its leadership and its government media, saudi arabia for example has quite an underground youth culture.
what was that line from 'control room, something like, 'if an electrical device breaks down in downtown damascus, it is an israeli conspiracy!'
