And yet the seasons only halfway done. How many Alouettes teams have we seen 8-1 at midway point and collapse down the stretch?
It's tough; though as a fan it's a special thing to witness a team like this since as it only happens once a decade, the team is already a victim of their own success.
Anything less than a championship this year will be a bitter pill to swallow and frankly it's always difficult to win on a "any given Sunday" league where the playoffs are single-knockout.
Heck, not even a bye to the West final is guaranteed yet.
A season like this is incredibly satisfying but only if you win it all and that still remains a tall order. And it makes games like this tough to watch as a fan: because if your team wins, it's expected, but if they lose it would be extremely disappointing.
