I find Google Maps to be better at estimating travel times. It has the Crowsnest route at 5:23 and the Calgary route (via Glenmore) at 5:50. So not that much of a difference.
Of course, factor in some of the things that others have mentioned (single vs. dual carriageway for a significant portion, parks speed limits, scenery, traffic, etc.).
