Playoff would make for worse schedules in the regular season. There would NO good OOC games cause there no point risking a playoff spot. At least in BCS you have to have good OOC matches in order to get into the top 2 rather than the top 16.
Completely disagree. I think that there would be even more emphasis put on OOC games in regards to SOS. I mean how much worse can it get when Fla. plays Western kentucky, Troy and Florida Atlantic in one season? (Not picking on Fla, I just remember that year vividly) You schedule something like that and chances are pretty good other schools will have equal records and much stonger OOC games.

And even with a playoff, you still need rankings for seeding. Giving Boise State a 2nd or 3rd seed in a tournament based on the schedule they have this year isn't really fair either.
How is it not fair? They are #3 in the country now. Even if you slide them down to a 6-10 seed in a 16 team deal (As an example only) at least they still have an equal shot at playing for the championship....something that no other non-BCS conference school can say in the current system unless they are ranked REALLY high to start the season like BS this year.

And again, the same NCAA group that seemingly cant figure this out...HAS THE SYSTEM in place already and uses it every year for the FBS schools. Its assinine.

Again...I understand there is no perfect system that addresses all concerns...but no one will ever convince me that playoff system would be a more undesirable option than the joke that is in place now. IMO...its impossible to argue otherwise.
