Straight up, if the Muslim community doesn't condemn the acts, they will be perceived as endoursing them.
Maybe they shouldn't
have to condemn these acts, but it goes a long way in restoring their image. Nobody held a gun to their head to tell them to condemn it- it is the right thing to do.
They should not have to apologize though.
