Feminists cling to the 20% wage gap as if it were gospel. But I absolutely believe that especially at the new-grad to intermediate level in today's Canadian society, men and women are completely equal. This article merely strengthens my belief in this.

Just speaking from my experience as a recent graduate from the UofC's business program but I would agree with this. Although this might have something to do with my being in Marketing, which is somewhere between a 60/40 or 70/30 gender split (female/male).
-sidepoint, I used to be a comp sci major which was more like 2/98
I don't know anybody who ever looked down on somebody in a class or group project simply because they were of the fairer sex. Some of my female colleagues have already got fantastic jobs as well.

Also, if anyone here has ever thought about taking the gender sociology course offered at U of C and is male, I would ask you to rethink. That was the most anti-male class I have ever had and was amateurishly instructed. Either a real agenda was at play when I took this course many years ago, or some interesting people congregate for this course to ream out their male counterparts.

I considered taking a course or two because I have a (male) friend in Gender studies. To be honest, by the end of my second year he had turned me off of it. I'll let my own values guide me instead of inviting that kind of attitude.
