Here is a very simple test which you can apply to film and television which quite clearly demonstrates just how anti-female modern society is. It's called "The Bechdel Test".
It's a test which you can use to determine if a film is "Feminist" or not. A film passes the test if it meets the following criteria:
If, at any point through the film, two female characters who both have names that the audience knows, have a conversation that is not about a man.
That's it. That's the whole test. Now name five films released this year that can pass it. Hell, name two.
