I noticed in the comments in one of the stories that it was a allegedly a black woman who did this, and of course the victim was white. They are saying that if it was the other way around, the outcry would be greater because it would be considered "racially motivated".

I don't know if I agree, but I find it interesting that those lines are being drawn.
