Like you said I do it for me and only me. If it lowers the value when I sell it, oh well. Cost of doing business I guess. My first car was a customer lowrider truck and then my vehicle after was just a stock car. I hate that car so much and treated it like from day one. Bought it brand new and once didn't take it in for an oil change for close to 2 years. I feel when I can make my car 'custom' I have more pride in it, take better care of it and enjoy driving it. Hell this car I wash twice a week where my other car there was a period of 5 years I let it go.
